Community Gatherings

I offer community gatherings free of charge to individuals  and groups who want to explore the quality of being in the world. In this space, I introduce Gestalt relational principles and invite you to experience the present moment—both for yourself and in connection with others.

The German word gestalt translates to shape in English. Gestalt psychotherapy principles use this idea to explore how we create form or meaning through a holistic, dialogic approach. This approach grounds our perception and understanding of a situation in the present moment, where whole parts meet through different styles of contact.

What I love about this approach—and where my strength lies—is the embodied qualities it brings to every encounter. Our bodies support us not only through vital organs but also through senses, feelings, thoughts, and expectations.

When we meet these with clarity and awareness, new experiences emerge, encouraging fresh approaches to ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Whole and Aware - an encounter

Whole and Aware is an experiential workshop where you explore your bodily experience in the here and now. I guide you to engage with your inner world, with me, and with the outer world around you. The sample structure below provides anchors for the process, but I adapt freely to what feels important in the moment.

  • Part One: Arriving in the Space
Ask yourself: How am I, here and now? How does it feel for my body and mind to be in this space? What do I notice, assume, or know as true when I look around?

  • Part Two: Relating to Others
Ask yourself: What comes up as I look around? Do I feel my body? What am I thinking?

  • Part Three: Active Listening
Invite someone next to you to share something they feel curious or intrigued about. Listen without questions—observe their whole being and your own. Are you listening to agree, contradict, or offer help? What else do you notice in this act of pure listening?

  • Part Four: Exchange and Engage
Share your experience with someone new. What did you notice? Which part of you felt dominant? Which part felt passive? How did you experience your wholeness? You might also write or draw something on a card or paper.

Duration: The workshop lasts 1 to 3 hours, depending on the number of participants.

Participants: To support both individual and group processes, each session accommodates 5–11 adults. For larger groups, I spread the format across two meetings.

Location: I host the workshop in a spacious room or an open natural setting, allowing for movement and exploration. We will agree on the exact location together, based on your needs and following our conversation.

Do you manage, support or are part of a community and want to learn more about this offer? Do get in touch, I’d love to chat with you!
