Reiki therapy

To enhance my skills in the healing modalities, I’ve followed and completed Jidiken Reiki I & II training.

Jidiken Reiki or Reiki therapy is the art of hands-on healing originating in Japan. It can be described as the universal life energy that flows through all living beings and matter. This gentle, subtle approach supports balance and harmony in body, mind, and spirit.

Physical benefits

  • Pain Relief: Reiki can help alleviate physical pain, including chronic pain and pain from injuries. 
  • Improved Sleep: Reiki may promote better sleep quality and reduce insomnia symptoms. Reiki can promote deep relaxation and reduce muscle tension. 
  • Boosted Immune System: Reiki can help balance the body’s energy, potentially strengthening the immune system and aiding in recovery from illness or surgery.

  • Reduced Anxiety and Depression: Reiki may help reduce feelings of anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. 
  • Improved Mood: Some individuals experience a positive shift in their overall mood and emotional well-being after Reiki sessions.

Reiki sessions

For Reiki treatments, I use gentle hand placements to relax parts of the body that hold tension. 

Before starting, I check with you about any specific pains in your body or areas to focus on, and I always ask for your consent before using direct touch. Sessions are done fully clothed while you lie comfortably on a massage table, with soft music playing to support a meditative state.

WHERE: At the moment, the Reiki session takes place in person in the comfort of your home (in a room that allows for restful, quiet practice) or at a distance for the same purposes and with the same effect. The session it’s done fully clothed in an environment that induces a relaxing, meditative state. 

HOW LONG: Depending on your needs or preferences, a Reiki session can last anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes, so you may want to allow around 2h of quiet time for yourself and for the treatment. In a first treatment, I work on the whole body. If time is limited, I’ll focus on the area that needs the most immediate attention.

FEES:

  • Regular client: €75 per 60–90 minute session, or €180 for a bundle of three sessions. (exclusive travel costs)
  • Students, low income and/or unemployed clients: Reduced fee of €45 per 45-minute to 1-hour session. (exclusive travel costs)

SUPPORT OFFER: Donation based Reiki sessions available for healthcare professionals.

CANCELLATION POLICY: There is no charge for cancellations or rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will incur a will incur a €20 fee.
